The Amarone -fans know it: between January and February usually, the Amarone Preview event has always been organized in Verona downtown. Regrettably, this year is impossible to hold it — you guess the reason —, so the Consorzio Tutela Vini Valpolicella has decided to organize a completely digital edition. It is going to be on February 26th and 27th 2021.

The event is going to involve 100 stakeholders, most of them from abroad, including trade operators, wine specialists, Masters of Wine, and specialized press. 1200 samples of Amarone, Valpolicella, and Ripasso wines (4 references of each wine for each participant) are ready to take off towards 25 target countries, from the Arab Emirates to Germany. “ This format is as smart as it is effective” — underlines  Christian Marchesini, president of the Valpolicella Wine Consortium — The Veronese denomination is the forerunner of an innovative, multi-channel and service concept able to simultaneously connecting all the decision-makers in the sector”. According to Marchesini, the strengths of the project are the contents of the sector that will be the subject of institutional discussions and the live digital tastings.

Seven appointments are going to be hosted during the two days of the Valpolicella annual conference, broadcast live-streaming on the Zoom platform and on the main social channels of the Consortium (Facebook and Instagram). For info: areastampa1@consorziovalpolicella.it
